Horringer Pre-School is delighted to announce that the Acorn Project has now raised over £150k, which means we will be installing our new building over the summer holidays!
The Acorn Project was launched back in 2017 with the mission of raising £150,000 for a new community building for the village of Horringer that will be used as a Pre-School during the week. The money has been raised through a variety of community fundraising events that have been generously supported by the local community and charity grants.
The old building has been cleared out and dismantled to make space for our new purpose built building. The new building will have amazing facilities including a spacious lobby, a private office, a new kitchen with facilities for the children to help with cooking, a large, light and open central space, new paths and ramps, allowing disabled access to the building and a separate sensory room with views onto the copse.
We will keep you updated over the summer with the building progress and can not wait to welcome you back in our new building in September.
Here is where the old building used to be!
